After May 4, 2017 at 7:16pm my life was changed forever. And it may sound a little dramatic with the way that I’m describing the story but thats because it is indeed pretty dramatic for me. I’ve wanted my entire life to be apart of this “sisterhood” and now that I am, the amount of praise and thanks that I give to God is unlimited.
The blood, sweat, and tears that I put in the previous semester was well worth it.
I am proud of my progress, things that I have accomplished, and the people that I have met along the way of the journey to this exact moment.
I intend to graduate from Spelman College with a bachelor’s degree in the year 2019 and continue to pursue my many different passions. The opportunities that will be surrounding me in the coming Fall semester are endless and I have no one to thank for those opportunities except The Most High.
Thank you mom for pushing me to be the best that I can be.
Thank you dad for teaching me to never be a follower, but a leader instead.
Thank you Savon for being my humor when I need it most. No matter what.
Thank you Qualik for being my arguing buddy at the house.
Thank you Larry for being there.
Thank you Chaz, for sharing your room with me from time to time.
Thank you to my many many cousins and close friends that have also supported me along the way.
I love you. Everything that I do is for you.
